SOS Productions is an award winning production company which has made films and reports from all over the world. We have worked with Screen Ireland, Dogwoof, Break Out Pictures, Al Jazeera English, BBC, RTE, Channel 4, The New York Times and The Guardian.

Our latest feature documentary Pray for Our Sinners premiered at Toronto Film Festival 2022 and is now the most attended documentary in Irish cinemas for 2023. 

We are currently developing a slate of challenging and exciting projects from around the world with the support of Screen Ireland.

The work of SOS Productions pays particular attention to unseen issues that have international appeal. This is reflected in our slate which is being developed in partnership with Screen Ireland. Our content is female focussed. We want to connect with audiences from both Ireland and around the world.

Sinead O’Shea is an award-winning filmmaker and writer. 

 

 

Her latest feature Pray For Our Sinners is premiering at Toronto Film Festival 2022. It is the most attended documentary in Irish cinemas for 2023 and represented by Break Out Pictures in Ireland and Dogwoof for international sales. 

Sinéad’s first feature documentary A Mother Brings her Son to be Shot premiered at CPH:DOX 2018 where it was nominated for a FACT Award.

 

In 2018 Sinead was named as one of the top 10 European female filmmakers to watch by the European Film Promotion network and Screen International. She has also directed and produced over 100 films and reports with Al Jazeera English, BBC, Channel 4 and RTÉ.
